DIRECTV Receivers ($4.99 per month per additional receiver as long as all receivers are connected to the same phone line). After you have fulfilled your twelve (12) month agreement (24 months for advanced receivers) to the required programming package(s), you are not obligated to continue your subscription to DIRECTV programming for any specific duration. Existing DIRECTV customers may activate additional receivers with their existing DIRECTV programming package.
Consequences of Your Failure to Maintain Agreement: If you fail to maintain and pay for twelve (12) consecutive months (24 consecutive months for advanced receivers) of the required programming package, you agree that DIRECTV may charge you a prorated fee of up to $300. Receivers, including the Access Card inserted into each DIRECTV receiver unit, are at all times the property of DIRECTV and must be returned upon cancellation of service, or additional fees apply.
THIS PROGRAMMING AGREEMENT IS SEPARATE AND DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER ANNUAL AGREEMENT YOU MAY HAVE PREVIOUSLY MADE WITH DIRECTV AND IS FULLY ENFORCEABLE UNDER THESE TERMS.
DIRECTV Customer Agreement: You hereby agree and acknowledge that this DIRECTV Annual Programming Agreement sets forth additional terms and conditions regarding your receipt of DIRECTV programming and activation of access cards and shall be applied in conjunction with the DIRECTV Customer Agreement, a copy of which is provided with your first bill.
Arbitration: You and DIRECTV agree that both parties will resolve any dispute arising under this Agreement, the DIRECTV customer Agreement or any addendum thereto, or your DIRECTV service, through binding arbitration as fully set forth in the DIRECTV Customer Agreement. Arbitration means you waive your right to a jury trial.
RETURN POLICY
The DIRECTV equipment will be brought to your home by the professional installation technician on the day of your scheduled install. If you decide that you do not want DIRECTV service before your scheduled install date, please call us to cancel your order. If after the installation technician has arrived at your home, you decide that you do not want DIRECTV service and that you do not want the DIRECTV equipment installed in your home, please tell the technician that you would like to cancel your order. The technician will complete the necessary paperwork and cancel your order for you.
Once your equipment has been installed and activated, you are obligated to a service agreement. If you should decide that you want to break that agreement, you must contact DIRECTV customer service. You will be subject to a penalty and/or asked to return all of your equipment to DIRECTV. You are not eleigible for a refund of the handling & delivery fee.

STANDARD PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION CONDITIONS
The following is included with a single-room installation:

All customers renting townhouses, apartments, condominiums, etc., will need to provide the installer written permission from the landlord prior to installation.

Completion of a site survey with customer's permission.
-
Planning the installation with the customer (cable routing, antenna location, connection of devices and discussing future options).

Notification to customer of any additional (nonstandard) charges prior to commencement of any work.
-
Properly routing and aligning an 18 inch dish satellite antenna with dual output LNB.
-
Routing and properly attaching up to 125 feet of quality RG6 cable.
-
Cable routing through one exterior and one interior wall.
-
Grounding to meet Local/NEC requirements.
-
Installation of one DIRECTV System IRD (receiver).
-
Connection to an active telephone line within twenty-five (25) feet, capable of dialing out.
-
Tuning the antenna alignment to peak performance.
-
Completion of a system test verifying signal strengths, access card match, and telephone connectivity.
-
Connection of VCR (if applicable).
-
Cleaning up any mess made during installation and removing debris from the customer's residence.
-
Activation of DIRECTV programming with the customer on the phone.
-
Customer education on system operation and features.
-
Leaving installation company name and telephone number with the customer, enabling them to contact the installation contractor directly if there are any problems with the installation.
Add these steps for each additional receiver purchased:

Routing and properly attaching quality RG6 cable to each additional TV (within 125 feet as described above).

Installation of each additional DIRECTV Receiver to each additional TV.

Connection of each additional DIRECTV Receiver to the same active telephone line within twenty-five (25) feet, capable of dialing out.

Connection of VCR (if applicable).
NON-STANDARD INSTALLATION FEES
Additional work is payable directly to the installer at time of installation. Prices will fluctuate due to circumstances from one installer to another. We recommend that you and your installer agree to pricing in writing prior to the installation. The prices below are an average and should be used as a guideline only. Here are some of the most common scenarios:

You agree that each of the above installation points are acceptable. You also agree that any variances from a standard professional installation (outlined above) will be your financial responsibility. As stated above, this fee (if any nonstandard installation work is required) will be discussed with you by the contractor prior to installation. Also, you understand that each DIRECTV Receiver must be connected to a landline phone connection. These receivers must be connected to a phone line; however, they will not interfere with your telephone connection and will allow you to operate your telephone normally. No additional or new phone line is needed.
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Promotional Gifts
In order to claim an advertised promotional gift, you must order your DIRECTV System from Fil-Am TV by the phone number 1-888-271-7746 or website advertised with the promotional gift. Any claims made from customers that did not order their DIRECTV System from Fil-Am TV by the respective phone number 1-888-271-7746 or website contained within the advertisement will be denied.
Limitation of Liability
FIL-AM TV IS AN AUTHORIZED RESELLER OF DIRECTV, BUT IS AN ENTITY SEPARATE AND INDEPENDENT FROM DIRECTV AND DIRECTV'S INDEPENDENT INSTALLERS. YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT FIL-AM TV IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE EQUIPMENT YOU RECEIVE, WHICH IS PROVIDED BY DIRECTV OR ITS DESIGNEES, OR THE INSTALLATION SERVICES YOU RECEIVE, WHICH ARE PROVIDED BY INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS OF DIRECTV. THESE GOODS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. FIL-AM TV EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. EXCEPT AS INDICATED BELOW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FIL-AM TV BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM LOST DATA OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) RESULTING FROM THE GOODS OR SERVICES YOU RECEIVE UNDER THIS AGREEMENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT FIL-AM TV IS ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. FIL-AM TV'S CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU OR ANY OTHER PARTY FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE GOODS OR SERVICES YOU RECEIVE UNDER THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL FEE PAID BY YOU, IF ANY, TO FIL-AM TV IN CONSIDERATION FOR RECEIPT OF THE GOODS AND SERVICES.
